Screaming for help!
QUESTIONS?
  • Can anyone see my name or address? NO, not until both you and the other person you are swapping with agree to go ahead with the swap. At that point they will get your real name and mailing address. You will see their name and address as well.
  • Can I delete my shoes if I need to? - Yes.
  • Do I have to upload photos of my shoes? - No. You don't have to but don't rely on peoples' imagination to understand how great your shoes are.
  • What size images? - The largest version of your shoes will be 600 pixels wide and/or 600 pixels tall so it's best to keep your images about this size. We will automatically make a small, medium, and large version of the correct size. The image file size can't be more than 2 MB.
  • How do I know I can trust the other person? - Check their rating and comments. It's almost always fine to swap with someone with no rating or comments, after all, we've all got to start somewhere. Be wary of anyone with a poor rating or negative comments.
  • What do I do when someone accepts my swap offer? - When you both agree on a swap, they'll mail your new shoes and you will do the same. It's that simple.
  • Can I cancel a swap? - Yes, but only up the the point that the other party mails their shoes. Once they mark their shoes as sent, you can't cancel. However, you can always contact them and work something out. The vast majority of swappers just love to exchange shoes and they can be very understanding when something doesn't go exactly to plan
  • Why does my swap status say "unavailable" on myPage? - It means that either you or the owner of the other shoes in the proposed swap decided to swap with someone else or removed the shoes from the site.
  • Why did my own shoes disappear from my shoe list and I can't find them on the site? - If you did not delete the shoes, then they must be part of a swap in progress. Once you agree to a swap, you can no longer edit or search for the shoes. If you cancel the swap, the shoes will appear again.
  • What if I have a problem? - Contact Shoe Swappers.
